Elton John<\/a> and Dua Lipa<\/a> enjoyed a welcome reunion six years after topping the charts together as she attended his star-studded Oscars<\/a> viewing party on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The pop star, 30, was joined by her fianc\u00e9 Callum Turner and a string of big names at Elton’s annual bash which raises money for his AIDS Foundation.<\/p>\n

Dua and Elton, 78, posed for spirited snaps together as she prepared to splash the cash during the charity auction.<\/p>\n

The hitmaker put on a showstopping display in a plunging blue sequinned gown as she arrived for the event.<\/p>\n

Dua and Elton famously collaborated on the 2020 hit\u00a0Cold Heart (Pnau remix), which was inspired by several of the music legend’s biggest tracks, including Rocket Man, Kiss The Bride and Where’s The Shoorah.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, Elton once again took on the role of mediator in his godson Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>‘s feud with his family, as he mingled with the chef and his wife Nicola Peltz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At Sunday’s party, Elton was captured talking to the nepo babies<\/a>\u00a0with a stern expression, while an engaged Brooklyn appeared serious with Nicola alongside.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Beckhams and Elton have been pals for more than 30 years, with David affectionately calling the musician ‘Uncle Elton’ after the pair became friends in his football heyday.<\/p>\n

While Dua was reunited with her husband-to-be Callum for the Oscars bash, the star recently opened uup about the struggle to maintain long-distance relationships as she offered advice to a fan who had moved away for work.<\/p>\n

Dua has taken on a new role as an agony aunt for her lifestyle site Service 95, and was asked for tips on ‘staying connected with loved ones from the other side of the world’.<\/p>\n

She was the perfect person to ask, having just completed the year-long Radical Optimism tour that saw her travel the world and torn apart from her London-based fianc\u00e9, Callum and family.<\/p>\n

She answered: ‘This is something I’ve had to get pretty good at over the years, especially during touring seasons!<\/p>\n

‘I’ll start by saying this: it does get easier with time, but it never stops being hard.<\/p>\n

‘Being far away from your family is tough. It’s not just the big occasions you miss; it’s the build-up of small moments that can leave you feeling out of sync with each other.’<\/p>\n

Yet after acknowledging the hardships, Dua ended on an optimistic note, musing: ‘Yes, relationships do change with distance, but love doesn’t.<\/p>\n

‘If anything, it can feel even stronger when you don’t get to see each other all the time.’<\/p>\n

The chart-topper also opened up about her past splits after receiving a letter from a fan whose sister had lost confidence after a break-up.<\/p>\n

Dua, who famously dated model Anwar Hadid and chef Isaac Carew before finding love with Callum, replied: ‘Break-ups are never easy, I know that firsthand, and it’s horrible watching someone you love get knocked by one.<\/p>\n

‘When someone’s confidence takes a hit, your instinct is usually to rush in with the big affirmations: You’re amazing! F*** them! But I’d say that’s not always what they want or need to hear right away.<\/p>\n

‘Sometimes the best thing you can do is just be there and be reliable.<\/p>\n

‘Let her say, “This makes me feel like s**t,” without trying to fix it or put a positive spin on it.<\/p>\n

‘Break-ups are disorienting and having the space to feel the weight of that can actually be really healing.’<\/p>\n

Writing on her website, Dua said of her new role: ‘I’ve been told before that I give good advice, so this definitely puts that claim to the test!<\/p>\n

‘Either way, I absolutely loved reading every submission, so thank you so much to everyone who took part.<\/p>\n
