A shots-fired incident in Newton has Surrey Police investigating.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened at 4:45 a.m. Monday (March 16) in the 7500-block of 126A Street, according to police on the case.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s where a homeowner spotted bullet holes in his door and front window and reported it to police Monday morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough the complainant did not hear or observe the shooting, neighbours and CCTV video confirm that the shooting occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m.,\u201d says a SPS news release.<\/p>\n
\u201cCurrently, there is no indication that this shots fired incident is connected to extortion,\u201d police say.<\/p>\n
The home is located in a cul-de-sac near the Action BMX track, according to a Google Maps search.<\/p>\n
The investigation is being done with Integrated Forensic Identification Services (IFIS) and Frontline Investigative Support (FLIS) officers now involved.<\/p>\n
