Meanwhile, the team also ended its long-term apparel sponsorships with Tommy Hilfiger and Puma, signing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/adidas-mercedes-formula-1-deal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">major new deal with Adidas<\/a> instead. \u201cThe Adidas partnership arrived at a moment when we were redefining ourselves,\u201d says Mercedes team principal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/toto-wolff-travel-questionnaire\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toto Wolff<\/a>. \u201cTightening the culture, rebuilding competitiveness, and looking at the future with fresh eyes.\u201d Now, in year two, Mercedes is off to a scorching start in the young season, with drivers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/george-russell-miami-grand-prix-interview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">George Russell<\/a> and Antonelli sitting atop the standings and what appears to be the most dominant car on the grid in their paddock. First teased at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/adidas-y-3-wales-bonner-willy-chavarria-paris-ss26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paris Fashion Week<\/a> last June, and then again last weekend at the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai on Felix of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/video\/watch\/actually-us-stray-kids\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stray Kids<\/a>, the expansive collection comprises performance gear, casual sportswear, and one extremely sick pair of racing boots. At the heart of the collaboration is an illustrated wolf motif pulled straight from the Y-3 archives\u2014the graphic originally appeared on an iconic pair of Yohji-designed Adidas F50 Tunit soccer cleats circa 2006.
