SANTA CLARA, Calif. \u2013 The Santa Clara men’s tennis doubles team of Tiago Boschmans<\/a> and Luca Lemaitre<\/a> entered Tuesday’s\u00a0latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings at No. 57 joining teammates Luca Bluett<\/a> and John Kim<\/a> who are at No. 50 in doubles and the Broncos at No. 39 in the team rankings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Boschmans and Lemaitre are 8-1 on the season that includes a seven-match win streak\u00a0playing at the No. 2 spot in the doubles lineup.\u00a0 Last Saturday, they\u00a0defeated Stewart Aronson and Filip Soderqvist 6-3 to secure the team doubles point against No. 61 Boise State in the battle of the nationally ranked Broncos which Santa Clara prevailed 4-1 to improve to 11-2 on the season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Even with the win against a nationally ranked opponent,\u00a0Santa Clara men’s tennis dropped one spot in the rankings to No. 39 after holding steady at No. 38 in the last two rankings.\u00a0 This season, they have\u00a0wins against three Power 4 schools – Alabama, Oregon and Washington – as well as against two ranked opponents in No. 74 UNLV and\u00a0No. 61 Boise State.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Bluett and Kim are ranked for the fourth straight time, coming in at No. 50 this week.\u00a0 The Bronco tandem reached\u00a0a high of No. 17 earlier in the season.\u00a0 They are 5-2 with two of those wins against top-12 opponents, beating No. 2 Petar Jovanovic and Benito Sanchez Martinez from Mississippi State and No.12 Jacob Olar and Andrii Zimnokh from Alabama.\u00a0 Connect with the Broncos on Social Media
