Vanderpump Rules<\/a>‘\u00a0Lala Kent<\/a> is rejoicing over recent news that her health has taken a turn for the best.<\/p>\n

On August 5, Lala shared a video via her Instagram Stories, giving her followers an update in light of her pre-cancer eye abnormality diagnosis<\/a>. The friend of The Valley<\/a> had \u201cvery happy news\u201d after her third and final round of topical chemotherapy put her on the right track in her health journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cI finished those maybe a couple of weeks ago, and I went to the eye doc yesterday, and of course, you know, I\u2019m living in the \u2018what-if,\u2019 love talking about the \u2018what-if\u2019,\u201d Lala began. \u201cThe Virgo in me is like, \u2018Let\u2019s try crossing this bridge before we even get to it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

But when the mother of two visited specialists, they were \u201cthrilled\u201d by how well Lala responded to the treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey cleared me,\u201d she joyously said. \u201cI felt an overwhelming amount of gratitude, and just happiness, and peace.”<\/p>\n

She captioned the video with praise and praying-hand emojis, stating, \u201cPraise the Lord, hallelujah.\u201d<\/p>\n

What’s next in Lala Kent’s treatment process for her pre-cancerous eye abnormality<\/p>\n

In Lala’s aforementioned video, she shared what her doctors want her next steps to be. “Now they just want to see me every four months, and then it will move to every six months, and then it will move to a yearly appointment,” Lala explained. “God willing that it just stays good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Give Them Lala beauty brand founder confirmed in May that she first sought help from an optometrist who\u2019d misdiagnosed her with an inflamed pinguecula<\/a> \u2014 a benign growth on the tissue outside the white of an eye.<\/p>\n

But when recommended eye drops didn\u2019t appear to help, she went for a second opinion from an ophthalmologist, who confirmed that the issue with her eye seemed to be pre-cancerous<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she said, ‘I want to start you on chemotherapy drops,\u2019\u201d Lala shared on her Give Them Lala podcast<\/a>. \u201cNow I know that sounds terrifying. I cried, obviously, because the moment you hear that word \u2026 She said, ‘I want you to do the chemo drops for 3 months. We’re going to do a week of them and then go off for 3 weeks, and we’re going to do that for 3 months.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The new specialist, who came to Lala \u201chighly recommended,\u201d prescribed three rounds of special eye drops paired with a steroid over the course of several weeks, which \u2014 as seen in her recent update \u2014 seemed to have done the trick. <\/p>\n

Prior to the good news, though, Lala confessed her struggles with staying positive as she faced her serious medical dilemma<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It’s wild. I’ll have friends who come to me when they’re going through a health situation, and I’m like, ‘It’s going to be fine. You’ll be good. We’re gonna figure it out. We’ll cross bridges when we get to them,'” she admitted. “Then, you’re placed in this situation, all you can do is just sit here and stress and think about every possible, horrendous situation, and all of the advice that you give to people completely goes out the window \u2026 So, I’m trying to stay positive.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Lala\u2019s case, the power of positive thinking has positively paid off.<\/p>\n
