\n\tTeyana Taylor<\/a> had one battle she didn\u2019t expect at the Oscars<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe best supporting actress nominee got into a confrontation with an apparent security guard she says \u201cshoved\u201d her. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a viral video (below), Taylor is in a tight crowd at the Dolby Theatre when she calls an unidentified man \u201cvery rude\u201d and adds, \u201cYou\u2019re a man putting your hands on a female,\u201d and says, \u201che literally shoved me\u201d and that he \u201cdamn near shoved\u201d another woman.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDo not touch me, do not shove me,\u201d she also said.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the event, TMZ spoke<\/a> to the One Battle After Another star, who downplayed the incident and said she was now \u201call good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEverybody was having a good time, security was just doing a lot,\u201d she said<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s always that one, but I\u2019m perfectly fine. I\u2019m happy. I mean, there\u2019s nothing to wonder. The first thing people do is definitely make assumptions. But at the end of the day I just don\u2019t tolerate disrespect, especially when it\u2019s unwarranted and unprovoked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Monday, the Academy issued a statement regarding the incident: \u201cWe were extremely upset to learn about the experience endured by Teyana Taylor at the end of the Oscars ceremony last night. We have worked with Teyana over the last several months during awards<\/a> season, and she has been nothing short of remarkable, supportive, kind, and all about community.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe statement continued, \u201cThough the incident was with our outside security firm SIS, the experience of every single guest is our responsibility. We have made it clear to them that this behavior is not acceptable. We want to thank Teyana for showing remarkable grace, and we are taking the appropriate measures to ensure this does not happen again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the ceremony itself, Taylor also went viral for two other clips.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn one, Taylor gleefully put One Battle After Another director Paul Thomas into a headlock after their film won best picture. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn another, Taylor gave a generous and enthusiastic standing ovation for Amy Madigan, who ended up winning the best supporting actress category for her role in Weapons. Madigan, 75, set a record with the win because it made her the actress with the longest gap (40 years and one month) between a first nomination and a first victory. She received her first nod for 1985\u2019s\u00a0Twice in a Lifetime.<\/p>\n

\n\tOne Battle dominated the 98th Academy Awards, winning six Oscars from 13 nominations, including best director (Paul Thomas Anderson) and best supporting actor (Sean Penn).<\/p>\n
