Police have charged two suspects after recovering a stolen transport truck with no plates north of Brampton.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on Saturday around 3 a.m. while officers from the Caledon detachment were on patrol in the area of Nixon Road and McEwan Drive West, the OPP says.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when police say they spotted a commercial motor vehicle driving without a rear licence plate.<\/p>\n

Officers witnessed the vehicle stop in a nearby parking lot before two individuals exited the vehicle and fled the area of foot, police say.<\/p>\n

Officers located two suspects, and say the vehicle was reported stolen just hours earlier.<\/p>\n

The OPP says Navraj Dhillon, 28, of Caledon, and Mandeep Singh, 25, of Brampton, were both charged with obstruct peace officer, possession of break-in instruments, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.<\/p>\n

The accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to their charges.<\/p>\n
