\n\tChelsea Handler<\/a> was pretty, pretty miffed at RFK Jr<\/a>. and Cheryl Hines<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe comedian and podcaster says she blindly bought a $5.9 million Los Angeles home from the HHS head and the Curb Your Enthusiasm star, only to discover the house was left in \u201cunlivable\u201d condition.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe problems were so severe, Handler claims, that she has not been able to move into the property for five years. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking on her Dear Chelsea podcast earlier this month, Handler said the house was purchased through a private trust and the issues were not discovered until after the purchase. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFive years ago \u2026 I bought his house from [RFK Jr.] and Cheryl Hines,\u201d she said. \u201cI did not know I was buying it from him. It was anonymous. I still have not lived in this house. That\u2019s how fucked up this house was. The idea that this guy is in charge of the health of our country, when he didn\u2019t even have a proper foundation at his house. And when [the inspectors] opened up the house, they were like, \u2018This house is the most toxic environment. You cannot live here for at least two years.\u2019 I\u2019m not exaggerating. It was a disaster.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHines said that after having the house redone, inspectors just found a new problem with the property \u2014 an \u201cillegal\u201d outdoor storage unit that had to be removed. \u201cWe had to remove his illegal bullshit from my property,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\n\tA source close to the situation says Handler had every opportunity to inspect the home prior to the sale and that ultimately the responsibility for finding any relevant issues lands on the inspector and the buyer. <\/p>\n

\n\tHandler added, \u201cAnd they had the audacity to leave me a note! Cheryl Hines left me a note saying, \u2018Let us know if there\u2019s anything we can do for you, Chelsea.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, how about a fucking foundation?\u2019 That\u2019s something you could do for me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tConcluded Handler wryly: \u201cAnyway, I\u2019m not angry about it or anything. I\u2019m totally over it.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHandler didn\u2019t say whether she had tried pull-ups, milk and cod liver oil to address the issues. <\/p>\n
