Rather than allowing waste to decompose in landfills and release carbon and methane into the atmosphere, AMP will convert it into biochar, a stable material that can keep the carbon locked away for hundreds of years.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"8c7d8\">With our support, AMP and the Southeastern Public Service Authority of Virginia plan to deploy this climate solution at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ampsortation.com\/articles\/largest-us-recycling-project-spsa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">largest recycling<\/a> project in the U.S..
