{"id":543563,"date":"2026-03-18T02:06:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T02:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/543563\/"},"modified":"2026-03-18T02:06:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T02:06:08","slug":"toronto-maple-leafs-sign-d-vincent-borgesi-to-two-year-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/543563\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto Maple Leafs sign D Vincent Borgesi to two-year deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> signed defenceman Vincent Borgesi to a two-year deal beginning in the 2026-27 season, the team announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Borgesi will join the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on an amateur tryout for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 22-year-old scored five goals and added 15 assists in 36 games this season with Northeastern University.
