Surrey Police vehicle involved in morning collision, no injuries reported<\/p>\n

A Surrey Police Service vehicle was in a collision in South Surrey on Tuesday morning (March. 17), police confirmed.<\/p>\n
Sergeant Tige Pollock, of the SPS, said no one was injured and that the police vehicle was \u201cen route\u201d when the crash happened, but he did not elaborate as to where.<\/p>\n
Police closed 16 Avenue between the Highway 99 exit and 168 Street around 7 a.m. The road reopened at 8:20 a.m.<\/p>\n
This is the fourth crash involving a Surrey Police Service vehicle since December 2025. Two are still under investigation by the Surrey-based police watchdog, the Independent Investigations Office (IIO). The IIO cleared the police of wrongdoing in the Jan<\/a>. 21 crash in which a scooter rider<\/a> was injured.<\/p>\n The IIO said it had not been notified of Tuesday\u2019s collision.
