{"id":543767,"date":"2026-03-18T04:17:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T04:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/543767\/"},"modified":"2026-03-18T04:17:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T04:17:14","slug":"over-2m-shaved-off-vancouver-home-that-has-failed-to-snag-buyer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/543767\/","title":{"rendered":"Over $2M shaved off Vancouver home that has failed to snag buyer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A West Vancouver home got a sizable asking price reduction as it has so far failed to snag a buyer in the unpredictable B.C. housing market.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d previously reported on the British Properties home, which has its own basketball court, last year when it was listed for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/vancouver-home-british-properties-1036-eyremount-dr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">almost $22 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The house, located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homedetails\/1036-Eyremount-Dr-West-Vancouver-BC-V7S-2B3\/453628655_zpid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">1036 Eyremount Dr<\/a>., is a seven-bedroom and 11-bathroom home offering over 11,300 sq. ft. of living space.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s now listed for $19,880,000, after over $2 million was shaved off the previous asking price. Listings for the property go back to June 2025, when it was initially listed for $21,980,000. That listing was terminated in December 2025, before it was listed again for the same price.<\/p>\n<p>That listing was also terminated on March 16, before the new listing for $19,880,000 went up on the same date.<\/p>\n<p>The home was built in 2020, and the most recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcassessment.ca\/Property\/Info\/QTAwMDAyOUI2Mg==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BC Assessment<\/a> values the home at $8,354,000, well below the asking price.
