Both Boston Common Golf and Jupiter Links GC earned their way into the playoffs for the first time \u2014 with Boston Common securing the No. 1 seed thanks to a stellar regular season \u2014 and will face each other in the second of two semifinals matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Atlanta Drive GC is looking to defend its title from the first season and they take on Los Angeles Golf Club in the first semifinal match.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2022 Atlanta won the Season 1 matchup between the two teams 6-5 in overtime, while Los Angeles defeated Atlanta 7-3 in Season 2.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Both teams enter the playoffs with identical 3-2 regular season records and it should be a tightly contested affair.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Atlanta has the edge in singles while Los Angeles excelled in triples through the regular season.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Los Angeles has the edge off the tee, while Atlanta has a statistical advantage in putting.<\/p>\n
\u2022 This is the second match of the season for the lineup of Horschel, Cantlay and Gotterup for Atlanta. Gotterup won two of his first three PGA Tour starts in 2026 and will play his second consecutive match as an alternate for Atlanta.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Morikawa is not teeing it up for Los Angeles after he withdrew after one hole at The Players Championship last week after injuring his back.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Both Jupiter Links and Boston Common are making their first TGL playoff appearances. The two teams have split their regular-season meetings over the last two seasons and both matches have gone to overtime.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Boston Common led the regular season in a handful of key statistical categories \u2014 driving accuracy, driving distance and greens in regulation \u2014 while also leading TGL in triples holes won and triples points won<\/p>\n
\u2022 Boston completed a worst-to-first effort in the regular season as it went winless in Season 1 and missed the playoffs and, for Season 2, entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Jupiter Links grabbed the final playoff spot after erasing a 6-3 deficit scoring six points in the final three holes, including a Kim ace on No. 14.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Jupiter Links dominated TGL this season in singles points won and singles holes won, while also winning the most hammers.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bhatia will tee it up for Jupiter Links as an alternate once again but comes into the playoffs after his big win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational (a Signature Event on the PGA Tour schedule).<\/p>\n
\u2022 McIlroy was a bit of a question mark for this week after withdrawing from the Arnold Palmer Invitational due to a back injury and arriving late at The Players. He was asked Sunday night about teeing it up at TGL and said then he hadn\u2019t made a decision yet. Obviously, he\u2019s good to go.<\/p>\n

All matches will be played at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with the capacity for 1,500 fans in seating that\u2019s wrapped around the playing area \u2014 creating a \u2018greenside\u2019 experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Triples: nine holes \u2013 three players per team competing in an alternate-shot format.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Singles: six holes \u2013 one-on-one, head-to-head competition for the entire hole. Each player from each team plays a total of two full holes during the session.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Overtime: if the match is tied after 15 holes, the teams will play a best-of-three, closest-to-the-pin competition to decide the winner, with the hole location and orientation of the green remaining unchanged from the final\/15th hole of the match.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The shot distance in OT will be between 25-50 yards and decided pre-match by the match official. All players will play from the same spot. The ball must finish on the putting surface to be eligible.<\/p>\n
For each match, teams can be awarded up to two points towards their regular-season total based on the following:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Win in overtime = 2 points<\/p>\n
