\n\tZendaya<\/a>, inspired by the classic Victorian-era couplet, rocked Tuesday night\u2019s wedding themed preimere of \u201cThe Drama<\/a>\u201d in the same dress she wore to the 2015 Oscars.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was brainstorming with [stylist Law Roach] about how I would theme dress for this film, and I kind of remembered the saying, \u2018Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,’\u201d Zendaya told Variety at \u201cThe Drama\u201d premiere. \u201cSo I thought I\u2019d bring it back.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tRecalling the 2015 Academy Awards, she said, \u201cIt was such an important moment for myself, my community, for my loved ones, and it felt right. And it also happens to be a wedding dress, so that works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zendaya on wearing the same Vivienne Westwood gown to #TheDrama<\/a> premiere that she wore to the #Oscars<\/a> in 2015:<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Drama,\u201d from writer-director Kristoffer Borgli, stars Zendaya as Emma Hardwood, a bookstore employee from Louisiana, and Robert Pattinson<\/a> as Charlie Thompson, a British museum director. In the film, they are days away from being married, but their relationship takes a disastrous turn just before the wedding. A24<\/a> unveiled the characters in a fictional engagement announcement published in the Boston Globe. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Drama\u201d marks Borgli\u2019s second collaboration with A24 after 2023\u2019s \u201cDream Scenario\u201d with Nicolas Cage. Known for high-concept and often extreme psychological dramedies, Borgli\u2019s other feature credits include 2017\u2019s \u201cDrib\u201d and 2022\u2019s \u201cSick of Myself.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tZendaya has a busy slate of projects coming in 2026. On April 12, the third, and likely final, season of \u201cEuphoria\u201d premieres on HBO. On the film side, she is set to star in Christopher Nolan\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey<\/a>,\u201d which hits theaters on July 17. She\u2019s also got \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>\u201d and \u201cDune: Part 3<\/a>\u201d on the horizon, which premiere on July 31 and Dec. 18, respectively. <\/p>\n
