Taylor Frankie Paul\u2019s season of \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d will air as planned after she was involved in an alleged domestic violence dispute<\/a> with her ex, Dakota Mortensen. <\/p>\n

Variety reported<\/a> on Monday that the investigation into the incident \u201cwill not impact\u201d the show\u2019s release schedule or press plan.<\/p>\n

Variety confirmed that the new season of \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d will air as planned after star Taylor Frankie Paul (pictured above) was involved in an alleged domestic violence dispute. Disney<\/p>\n

Paul, 31, is the lead of \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d Season 22,<\/a> which premieres Sunday, March 22.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s expected to do press in New York City this week and then attend a premiere event in Los Angeles over the weekend.<\/p>\n

People<\/a> confirmed on Monday that Paul\u2019s alleged domestic violence incident caused her hit Hulu series \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d<\/a> to pause production on Season 5. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey are not filming,\u201d a source told the outlet. <\/p>\n

Paul (seen above) is the lead of the next season of \u201cThe Bachelorette\u201d that premieres March 22. Disney<\/p>\n

Paul also stars in \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (full cast pictured above), which has paused filming on Season 5 following Paul\u2019s alleged domestic violence incident. Hulu<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor [Frankie Paul]\u00a0has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off,\u201d the insider added.<\/p>\n

A Draper City, Utah Police Department spokesperson told the outlet that \u201ccontact was made with involved parties on [Feb.] 24th and 25th\u201d in the alleged incident, noting that accusations had been leveled \u201cin both directions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul broke her silence<\/a> on the drama while speaking to People on Tuesday during a press preview for \u201cThe Bachelorette.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust the timing is hard, and it\u2019s a big deal,\u201d the reality star said. <\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI feel like every premiere that I\u2019ve experienced, I\u2019ve never enjoyed fully, so this is another one\u2026 it\u2019s extremely hard, and it took everything to get me here today.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul, who called the situation \u00a0\u201cunfortunate,\u201d also admitted that she\u2019s \u201cstruggling\u201d but is determined to still \u201cshow up even though it\u2019s hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TikToker and Mortensen, 33, dated from 2022 to 2024. They share 1-year-old son, Ever.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Season 4 finale of \u201cSLOMW\u201d<\/a> revealed Paul and Mortensen had hooked up the night before she left to film \u201cThe Bachelorette.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a confessional, Mortensen said, \u201cShe\u2019s leaving and I\u2019m not going to talk to her for, I think, two months. I\u2019d be lying if I didn\u2019t think there was a piece of me that just kind of wanted to go \u2026 see her [and] be with her, like, possibly for the last time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul was previously arrested for alleged domestic violence in 2023<\/a>\u00a0following an argument with Mortensen. <\/p>\n

She allegedly threw a chair at Mortensen that instead hit her daughter Indy, 8, and was subsequently given misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. <\/p>\n

However, she noted during her 2025 \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d appearance that charges \u201cwere all dropped\u201d in the case.<\/p>\n
