{"id":546232,"date":"2026-03-19T06:56:16","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T06:56:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/546232\/"},"modified":"2026-03-19T06:56:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T06:56:16","slug":"nascar-suspends-three-members-of-big-machine-racing-for-unsecured-ballast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/546232\/","title":{"rendered":"NASCAR suspends three members of Big Machine Racing for unsecured ballast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NASCAR has issued a four-race suspension for three members from the Big Machine Racing NASCAR O&#8217;Reilly Auto Parts team, due to &#8220;loose or separated ballast&#8221; on the #48 Chevrolet, driven by Patrick Staropoli.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, crew chief Patrick Donahue, car chief Dillon Bassett, and engineer Morgan Olsen will have to sit out the next four races.
