Over the last two months, the Miami Dolphins<\/a> have hired a new head coach and general manager, moved on from several key players and brought in a group of free agents mostly on one-year deals.<\/p>\n

With this reset, it’s no surprise that the Dolphins<\/a> aren’t viewed as one of the best teams in the NFL, but just how far have they fallen nationally?<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, FOX Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano<\/a> put Miami at No. 30 in his post-free agency NFL power rankings, which is down two spots from the previous version.<\/p>\n

“Their short-term flier on quarterback Malik Willis<\/a> was necessary and smart, but he\u2019s going to be awfully lonely after the Dolphins\u2019 offseason fire sale,” Vacchiano wrote. “Trading WR Jaylen Waddle<\/a> for a first- and third-round pick was a great move for Miami’s future, but who\u2019s left for Willis to throw to?”<\/p>\n

Vacchiano has a fair point. Willis’ top three wide receivers right now are Tutu Atwell<\/a>, Jalen Tolbert<\/a> and Malik Washington. All three of those options are best suited to the third-best wide receivers on a depth chart.<\/p>\n

Get ready to see running back De’Von Achane<\/a> used a lot in 2026, as the Dolphins just try to make it through the year.<\/p>\n
