Taylor Frankie Paul\u2019s \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d castmates alleged Dakota Mortensen continuously sabotaged her behind the scenes, well ahead of ABC shockingly canceling her season of \u201cThe Bachelorette.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n

ABC made the decision to pull the plug on Paul\u2019s season \u2014 which was scheduled to premiere Sunday \u2014 due to disturbing video of her attacking Mortensen with chairs<\/a> in 2023 while her 8-year-old daughter, Indy, cried in the background.<\/p>\n

In a resurfaced clip <\/a>of \u201cThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d stars Mayci Neeley and Layla Taylor\u2019s appearance on \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast in May 2025, Neeley accused Mortensen of purposely ruining Paul\u2019s mindset ahead of major opportunities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy do you think Taylor didn\u2019t show up today? Of course, it\u2019s always him behind the scenes sabotaging things,\u201d she said, referencing Paul being a no-show during the podcast appearance.<\/p>\n

During the podcast, Neeley (pictured on the left) accused Mortensen of purposely starting fights with Paul right before she was scheduled to do press. The Viall Files\/YouTube<\/p>\n

When host Nick Viall asked, \u201cSo I should blame Dakota?,\u201d both Neeley and Taylor replied, \u201cOne thousand percent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neeley alleged that any time Paul had a big event coming up, Mortensen purposely got into fights with her to the point where Paul was crying and no longer wanted to do press. Neeley and Taylor said this happened multiple times ahead of press events in 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe sabotages all the exciting things,\u201d Neeley said. <\/p>\n

She accused Mortensen of not wanting Paul to do her best and that he felt like it was a \u201ccompetition\u201d between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s so insecure that he has to bring her down to his level, to be honest,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Neeley later called Mortensen \u201ca wolf in sheep\u2019s clothing,\u201d noting that he had a likable personality when filming, but was not the same behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to Mortensen\u2019s rep but didn\u2019t immediately receive a response.<\/p>\n

Paul, 31, spoke out<\/a> after ABC\u2019s decision to cancel \u201cThe Bachelorette,\u201d accusing Mortensen of not letting her move on. The two share a 2-year-old son, Ever, together.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,\u201d her spokesperson told Page Six Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

ABC subsequently canceled Paul\u2019s season of \u201cThe Bachelorette,\u201d which was supposed to premiere Sunday. Disney<\/p>\n

In his own statement Thursday, Mortensen, 33, denied Paul\u2019s earlier allegations<\/a>\u00a0that he was creating a \u201cdesperate\u201d and \u201cdestructive campaign to harm\u201d her <\/a>after the horrifying domestic violence video was released by TMZ.<\/p>\n

Paul also claimed the video \u201cconveniently omits context.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mortensen told Page Six in response, \u201cAs anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a deeply upsetting situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny,\u201d he continued. \u201cI am focusing on our son and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n
