Teddy Atlas<\/a> has named the former world heavyweight champion that he wants to see Jake Paul<\/a> take on next.<\/p>\n

Paul continued his boxing journey last month when he defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr<\/a>, putting him one step closer to achieving his unlikely dream of becoming world champion.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 had a controversial bout with boxing legend Mike Tyson<\/a>, defeating the former world heavyweight champion by unanimous decision, though the fight received a lot of criticism due to Tyson being 58-years-old and having not competed professionally for nearly two decades.<\/p>\n

Respected analyst Atlas now feels Paul should face another former world heavyweight champion, telling Bet Victor<\/a> that the YouTuber-turned-boxer should take on Deontay Wilder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake Paul has seen Deontay Wilder get knocked out in his last couple of fights. I know Wilder came back with a win, but the fights before that were the consequential fights, we saw him tarnished.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake Paul sees an opportunity. He\u2019s good at seeing opportunities. He\u2019s made zillions of dollars seeing opportunities. I\u2019m not gonna deny that he doesn\u2019t see this [as an opportunity]. \u201cI\u2019m not gonna knock him. I\u2019ll take you at face value. You\u2019re seeing another opportunity. God bless you. Let\u2019s see what you do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilder had lost four of his last five fights before he bounced back with a stoppage win over the unheralded Tyrrell Herndon last month.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 is now searching for his next opponent, and Atlas has revealed how he would see a fight with Paul going.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, if you ask my opinion, if it actually came to fruition, I think that Wilder, even at this age, this is a guy who Paul is not gonna have a size advantage over, and he\u2019s not gonna be that old, and he\u2019s still got that great right hand that has unbelievable power in it, I\u2019d be interested in seeing that because that would be to me a real risk.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilder is obviously not the fighter he was. I know that he obviously has been dissipated. You know, he\u2019s been eroded in in many areas, but he could still punch just like George Foreman could still punch when he was 45 years old \u201cIf Jake Paul puts himself in the ring with him, I\u2019ll watch it to see if Jake Paul can stand up to that right hand.\u201d<\/p>\n
