Zachery Ty Bryan<\/a> has been sentenced to 19 months in an Oregon jail after pleading guilty to a probation violation.<\/p>\n

The former “Home Improvement” star appeared in Lane County court virtually Friday for sentencing … according to KEZI News<\/a> in Oregon. He couldn’t be there in person because he’s in a California jail serving a separate<\/a> 16-month sentence for DUI.<\/p>\n

The 19-month sentence stems from Bryan’s November arrest in Eugene, Oregon<\/a> … when cops said they responded to a reckless-endangerment call and found Bryan in a pickup truck with his fianc\u00e9e, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, and their three small children.<\/p>\n

Authorities claimed Bryan violated the terms of his probation from a previous domestic violence conviction because he wasn’t supposed to be in contact with his fianc\u00e9e. Bryan ultimately pled guilty to the probation violation.<\/p>\n

The actor’s legal issues extend beyond the West Coast … he’s also facing a DUI case in Oklahoma, and authorities reportedly plan to extradite him to Oklahoma at some point.<\/p>\n

Zachery’s attorney John Kolego tells TMZ … “The sentence was excessive. It was ridiculous. Zachary has experienced a lot of trauma. He has an alcohol problem. Putting him in jail or prison is not going to help the situation. Poor use of resources. I\u2019m very disappointed in the judge. Zachary attended the hearing remotely.
