Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoene\u00df has never been one to hold his tongue, so when he was asked about the club\u2019s upcoming Champions League tie with Real Madrid, needless to say, Hoene\u00df had takes.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey don\u2019t play very good football, but they are outstanding in terms of experience; they are in peak physical condition. They are once again not doing so well in the league, but they can rely on their wealth of experience. It would be totally presumptuous to assume that we\u2019ll definitely advance, but we haven\u2019t had such a big chance in terms of playing quality as this year for a long time,\u201d Hoene\u00df told Deutschen Presse-Agentur (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>).<\/p>\n That quote was the ultimate embodiment of this GIF as Hoene\u00df did give the LaLiga club credit for its quality:<\/p>\n While maybe not beautiful football, Real Madrid is playing extremely effective football \u2014 just ask Manchester City. Any way you want to slice this, Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid is going to be an absolute war.<\/p>\n When asked about Bayern Munich potentially winning a treble, Hoene\u00df did not offer a blustery outlook.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s too optimistic. I would say we\u2019ll be German champions. The cup semifinal in Leverkusen will be tough.
