\n\tBrazilian soccer player Jorginho Frello is slamming Chappell Roan<\/a> and her team for the pop star\u2019s alleged mistreatment of his daughter at a S\u00e3o Paulo hotel on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrello shared a lengthy post to his Instagram Stories on Saturday about the situation, where he said that he \u201cwent through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHe wrote that his wife and 11-year-old daughter were attending Lollapalooza Brazil, which Roan is headlining this weekend, and his child \u201cmade a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire.\u201d (The soccer star tagged Roan in the post, and also shared a photo of his daughter\u2019s sign, which reads, \u201cH-O-T-T-O-G-O I am watching Chappell Roan\u201d in blue, pink and purple writing.)<\/p>\n

\n\tFrello did not detail the name of the child, though his wife, Catherine Harding, shares<\/a> an 11-year-old daughter with Jude Law. The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Law\u2019s reps for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBy coincidence, they\u2019re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognised [sic] her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it really was her,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAnd the worst part is she didn\u2019t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer\u2019s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn\u2019t say anything, didn\u2019t ask for anything.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe soccer star wrote that \u201cwhat happened next was completely disproportionate,\u201d explaining that \u201ca large security guard came over to their table while they were still having breakfast and began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn\u2019t allow my daughter to \u2018disrespect\u2019 or \u2018harass\u2019 other people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTHR reached out to Roan\u2019s reps for comment, but received no reply by the time of publication.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,\u201d Frello continued. \u201cHe even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears. My daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFrello, a celebrated player for Brazil\u2019s Flamengo, has almost 5 million followers on Instagram, and he detailed his experience living in the public eye in his post. \u201cI\u2019ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrello continued: \u201cIt\u2019s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this. I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe tagged Roan\u2019s Instagram account again at the end of his post, concluding, \u201cWITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy Award winner is known to speak her mind<\/a>, specifically about fan behavior. After launching to fame swiftly in 2024, she asked people to \u201cstop touching me,\u201d \u201cstop being weird to my family and friends\u201d and \u201cstop assuming things about me\u201d in an August Instagram post of the same year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFor the past 10 years I\u2019ve been going non-stop to build my project and it\u2019s come to the point that I need to draw lines and set boundaries. I want to be an artist for a very very long time,\u201d Roan wrote. \u201cI\u2019ve been in too many nonconsensual physical and social interactions and I just need to lay it out and remind you, women don\u2019t owe you shit. I chose this career path because because I love\u00a0music<\/a>\u00a0and art and honoring my inner child, I do not accept harassment of any kind because I chose this path, nor do I deserve it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA few weeks ago, a video<\/a> of Roan confronting paparazzi in Paris quickly went viral. As a pool of paparazzi and autograph seekers began taking photos of her, the enraged\u201dPink Pony Club\u201d singer took out her phone and began filming them while yelling at them to stand back.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m being disregarded as a human. This is what it\u2019s like. I\u2019m just trying to go to dinner and I\u2019ve asked these people several times to get away from me!\u201d Roan said.<\/p>\n
