UFC London<\/a> went down yesterday (Sat., March 21, 2026) inside O2 Arena on London, England which saw Movsar Evloev defeat Lerone Murphy via unanimous decision (recap here<\/a>). In the co-main event, Luke Riley defeated Michael Aswell Jr., also by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

Biggest Winner: Iwo Baraniewski<\/p>\n

Baraniewski improved his record to 8-0 after destroying Austen Lane in just 28 seconds of the very first round (see it again here<\/a>). With the win, he improves to 3-0 inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Octagon. What\u2019s even more impressive is that all of his wins have come via knockout in the very first round, totaling just under 2.5 minutes of fight time so far in his UFC career. In fact, all of Baraniewski\u2019s pro wins have come in the very first round. But we\u2019ve seen this before in the form of Houston Alexander and Robelis Despaigne, for example. Both men started off their MMA and UFC careers known as quick finishers, though they didn\u2019t amount to much inside the Octagon. So far, Baraniewski has proven to be the real deal and a few more wins like this could earn him a Top 15 ranking soon, rather than later.<\/p>\n

I get it, people are upset at the questionable scorecards<\/a>, but we would likely be having this same conversation had the decision gone the other way. Nevertheless, Evloev was able to hold on to his undefeated record \u2014 which is now at 20-0, 10-0 UFC \u2014 while Murphy is the one going home with his first-ever defeat. The only issue is there is no telling if UFC matchmakers were convinced enough to give the Russian grappler the next title shot against Alexander Volkanovski. Regardless, Evloev did what he had to do to convince the judges to remain in the winner\u2019s circle and get one step closer to his first-ever UFC title shot.<\/p>\n

Biggest Loser (s): Austen Lane and Antonio Trocoli<\/p>\n

Coming into the event, Trocoli was our pick for the fighter who needed a win the most<\/a> seeing as how he was coming in on a three-fight losing streak. Things went from bad to worse for \u201cMalvado,\u201d who remains without a win inside the Octagon by dropping to 0-4 following his loss to Mantas Kondratavicius. As for Lane, he has now lost three in a row and four of his last five fights getting stopped in all of those defeats, including his lightning-quick defeat to Baraniewski. I don\u2019t expect these two men to get another shot to prove their worth on the biggest stage of them all.<\/p>\n
