\u201cI\u2019m just gonna tell my half of the story of what happened today with a mother and child who were involved with a security guard, who is not my personal security,\u201d the \u201cGood Luck, Babe!\u201d singer said on her Instagram Stories Sunday. <\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t even see a woman and a child, like, no one came up to me. No one bothered me. I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel. I think these people were staying at the hotel, as well,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, said she did not instruct the security official to \u201cgo up and talk\u201d to the mother and daughter, who were revealed to be Law\u2019s ex Catherine Harding and their 11-year-old daughter, Ada.<\/p>\n
\u201cI did not, [and] they did not come up to me. They weren\u2019t doing anything,\u201d Roan, 28, clarified. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s unfair for security to\u00a0just assume someone doesn\u2019t have good intentions\u00a0when they have no reason to believe because there\u2019s no action even taken, like, that\u2019s so not what I stand behind,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
The pop star then stated that she does not \u201chate\u201d people who are fans of her music. <\/p>\n

Roan concluded her video message by apologizing to Harding and Ada for the interaction with the security guard. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sorry to that mother and child that someone was assuming something that you would do something and that if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad,\u201d Roan said. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou did not deserve that.\u201d <\/p>\n
Roan\u2019s response came hours after Harding\u2019s husband, Brazilian soccer star Jorginho Frello, blasted the singer and her security for causing his stepdaughter, Ada, to break down in tears at a hotel in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy daughter woke up extremely excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire @chappellroan,\u201d Frello wrote on Instagram Saturday hours ahead of Roan\u2019s performance at Lollapalooza Brazil.<\/p>\n

The athlete claimed Ada saw the \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d songstress at breakfast but did not approach her. <\/p>\n
\u201cShe just passed by the singer\u2019s table, looked over to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to the table with her mom,\u201d Frello claimed. \u201cShe didn\u2019t say anything, didn\u2019t ask for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Moments later, Frello claimed his wife and daughter were approached by Roan\u2019s \u201clarge\u201d security guard, who allegedly began \u201cspeaking in an extremely aggressive manner\u201d to them.<\/p>\n
Frello alleged that the guard accused the young child of \u201cdisrespect\u201d and \u201charassment\u201d and threatened to file a complaint with the hotel.<\/p>\n

The soccer star concluded his statement with a direct message to Roan.<\/p>\n
\u201cWithout your fans you would be nobody. And to the fans, she does not deserve your affection,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
Jude, 53, and Harding welcomed Ada in March 2015 after the couple had already split. <\/p>\n
