The New York Giants<\/a>, Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, and New England Patriots<\/a> still have a need at wide receiver to address at some point this offseason, and they could explore the possibility of signing a former Pro Bowl playmaker who is eyeing a return to the NFL.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Kay Adams at the Fanatics Flag Football on Saturday<\/a>, Odell Beckham Jr. said he wants to play in the NFL this upcoming season.<\/p>\n

“Looking forward to hopefully getting the opportunity to play this year,” Beckham said to Adams.<\/p>\n

When asked about a potential return to the New York Giants to play with quarterback Jaxson Dart, Beckham seemed to love the idea<\/p>\n

“That sounds great,” Beckham said on the possibility of playing with Dart. “If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that and be excited. He’s [Dart is] a good dude.”<\/p>\n

Beckham hasn’t played in the NFL since being released by the Miami Dolphins in the middle of the 2024 season<\/a>. In his full-time starting role with the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> in 2023, the 33-year-old tallied 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games.<\/p>\n

It’s clear that Beckham is no longer a high-level starting receiver, but the LSU product could still provide quality depth and experience to a team.<\/p>\n

A reunion between Beckham and the Giants would be fun, and New York could also use as many playmakers as possible for Dart.<\/p>\n

Kansas City and New England could also be possible destinations for Beckham. The Chiefs lack experience in their receiver group, and Beckham would fix that problem while also being a savvy veteran target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.<\/p>\n

As for the Patriots, Romeo Doubs and Kayshon Boutte can’t do it all by themselves as the primary pass-catchers for quarterback Drake Maye. Beckham could step in and make an impact on New England’s offense.<\/p>\n

Beckham should receive some interest from teams as he attempts a comeback. Though the Super Bowl\u00a0LVI isn’t the elite receicer he once was a decade ago, Beckham can still help a contender or franchise with a young quarterback.<\/p>\n
