Corentin Moutet is serving right back at Danielle Collins after some eyebrow-raising comments about him.<\/p>\n

Collins, a long-time ranked star on the WTA Tour who was appearing for the Tennis Channel during its Miami Open coverage Sunday, said the French tennis star Moutet was \u201cflirting with her\u201d before a match.<\/p>\n

Another broadcast colleague described it as \u201ccat-calling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Collins named a few reasons<\/a> why Moutet, ranked No. 33 in the world, didn\u2019t have a chance with her \u2014 his height and performance on the court specifically. Moutet stands at 5-foot-11 to Collins\u2019 5-foot-10.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018If you\u2019re gonna be flirting with me like that, you\u2019re gonna have to get a bigger serve,\u201d Collins said. \u201cSome people think it comes down to height, some people think it comes down to personality, but really what it comes down to is big forehands and big serves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, Collins claimed that Moutet unfollowed her after she went viral in October for stating, \u201cThis is a no short kings zone\u201d on her dating profile, which she posted on her Instagram story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She added that Moutet \u201cslid back into the DMs\u201d Saturday night after he won his first-round match.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe unfollowed me after my viral dating profile when I said I wasn\u2019t interested in the short kings. You have to understand that I\u2019m (5-foot-10), and for me, it\u2019s fair,\u201d Collins said. \u201cIt\u2019s just a preference, nothing against the short kings, but he was upset about that, he messaged me and then unfollowed me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moutet has publicly denied it all in a reply to Univers Tennis\u2019 X post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can I unfollow you when I never followed you. @TennisChannel how can you let someone say BS like this on tv? You followed me. You asked me for mixed dubs. And I\u2019ve never even followed you. You ready to say anything so people talks about you. You should learn how to love yourself so you won\u2019t have to do stupid things for people loves,\u201d Moutet wrote.<\/p>\n

Collins, 32, broke up with her partner Bryan Kipp recently after a year together. She had previously intended to retire at the end of 2024 and start a family, but faced complications.<\/p>\n

She recently spoke about creating a dating profile in which she said she was \u201caspiring to be a trad wife\u201d and be a \u201cstay at home dog mom\u201d before her controversial short king\u2019s remark.<\/p>\n

On the court, Collins played the villain<\/a> at the 2025 Australian Open. After beating Australian star Destanee Aiava in the second round, she celebrated by blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd and cupping her hand to her ear.<\/p>\n

She bowed out in the third round and was booed relentlessly afterward<\/a>. Now, she\u2019s taking a break from tennis and contributing to the Tennis Channel.<\/p>\n
