The name Geor\u00adgia O\u2019Ke\u00adeffe<\/a>, by con\u00adtrast, can hard\u00adly fail to bring a few images even to the mind of the strict\u00adly casu\u00adal art appre\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtor: New Mex\u00adi\u00adcan mesas, ani\u00admal skulls, and above all flow\u00aders in extreme close-up. Apart from the artis\u00adtic skill and dis\u00adtinc\u00adtive vision with which she cre\u00adat\u00aded it, O\u2019Ke\u00adef\u00adfe\u2019s work per\u00adsists in the wider cul\u00adture because of how well it hap\u00adpens to repro\u00adduce in a vari\u00adety of con\u00adtexts, includ\u00ading post\u00adcards, mugs, and even appar\u00adel, such as that sold at her epony\u00admous muse\u00adum in San\u00adta Fe<\/a>.<\/p>\n
