A source told People<\/a> on Sunday that the \u201cBetter Sister\u201d actress<\/a> is \u201cnot happy about the renewed attention,\u201d noting, \u201cThere\u2019s a reason they pushed back on the footage being released.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider went on to call the incident \u201cstressful\u201d as it \u201cobviously doesn\u2019t portray [Timberlake] in the best light.\u201d<\/p>\n

She \u201cwould prefer to move past it,\u201d the source insisted.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been some challenging moments lately, and she\u2019s focused on moving forward,\u201d the insider further told the outlet. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s the happiest when she\u2019s able to focus on family life, along with her work when she chooses to take on projects.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source also explained that \u2014 amid her support \u2014 \u201cshe\u2019s also not afraid to express when she\u2019s disappointed in certain decisions\u201d and \u201cthis was one of those moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Friday, footage from the \u201cCry Me a River\u201d singer\u2019s Hamptons DWI arrest was finally released despite\u00a0his attempts to block it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the video, Timberlake was pulled over and asked a series of questions before being asked to complete several sobriety tests. <\/p>\n

After stumbling a couple of times when asked to walk in a straight line, he called the tests \u201chard\u201d and admitted that his \u201cheart [was] racing.\u201d And although he cooperated with multiple requests, he declined to take a breathalyzer test<\/a>\u00a0several times.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re arresting Justin Timberlake right now?\u201d she could be heard asking before pleading, \u201cCan you guys please just do me a favor \u2019cause you loved \u2018Bye Bye Bye\u2019 or \u2018Sexyback?\u2019 Do me one favor!\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite his initial nervousness, Timberlake was also filmed\u00a0cracking a few jokes<\/a>\u00a0after he was processed at the station. <\/p>\n

The footage was released after Timberlake filed a lawsuit against the Long Island town of Sag Harbor, where he was arrested, to stop the footage from being released.<\/p>\n

He, however, cracked a few jokes once he was processed at the station. AP<\/p>\n

The \u201cMirrors\u201d singer was arrested in June 2024<\/a> and was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and cited for two traffic violations: failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to keep right.<\/p>\n

At the time, a source told Page Six that the former *NSYNC member was pulled over after meeting some friends at the historic American Hotel for dinner, but \u201cthere were cops stationed outside.\u201d<\/p>\n

We also exclusively reported that Timberlake expressed his concern for the fate of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour during the investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cop didn\u2019t know who he was at first,\u201d a source told us. \u201cJustin said under his breath, \u2018This is going to ruin the tour.\u2019 The cop replied, \u2018What tour?\u2019 Justin said, \u2018The world tour.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

His long night was apparent on his face as he\u00a0posed for his mugshot<\/a>\u00a0with visibly bloodshot eyes after being taken into custody.<\/p>\n

And although the Grammy winner\u2019s lawyer claimed he wasn\u2019t \u201cintoxicated\u201d at the time of his arrest<\/a>, they\u00a0took a plea deal<\/a>\u00a0and lowered his DWI charge to a traffic violation, which isn\u2019t a criminal defense.<\/p>\n
