(Previous story below)<\/p>\n<p>A male youth has been taken to hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle near the QEW in Mississauga on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The youth, whose age isn\u2019t yet known, was hit by a vehicle on Hurontario Street near the QEW at around 8 a.m., Peel Paramedics told INsauga.com.<\/p>\n<p>He was rushed to a trauma centre, according to paramedics, who described the person who was struck as a male youth.<\/p>\n<p>Peel Regional Police said the call was received just before 8:15 a.m. and they confirmed the accident victim sustained serious injuries.
