Tottenham<\/a> have offered condolences to interim head coach Igor Tudor following the death of his father.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old Croat did not undertake post-match media duties following Spurs’ 3-0 home defeat by Nottingham Forest<\/a> on Sunday for personal reasons.<\/p>\n

“Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Igor Tudor’s father, Mario,” said Spurs in a statement.<\/p>\n

“Our thoughts and condolences go out to Igor and his family during this incredibly difficult time.”<\/p>\n

Former Juventus boss Tudor was appointed Tottenham boss<\/a> until the end of the season on 13 February.<\/p>\n

His side sit one point above the relegation zone with seven games remaining, having lost four times and drawn once in the Premier League during Tudor’s short time in charge.<\/p>\n

Their next match is at Sunderland<\/a> on Sunday, 12 April.<\/p>\n

Italian club Juventus, for whom Tudor also played for many years, joined Tottenham<\/a> in expressing sympathy over the loss of his father.<\/p>\n

“Juventus stands with Igor Tudor and his family at this difficult time,” the Bianconeri said in a statement on X.<\/p>\n
