\n\tAfter making her stage return singing Edith Piaf\u2019s \u201cHymne A L\u2019Amour\u201d <\/a>by the Eiffel Tower at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, Celine Dion<\/a> is now poised to make a big concert comeback in France, Variety has confirmed.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news, which broke in the French-Canadian newspaper<\/a> La Presse on Sunday, was teased on Monday with a playful campaign of posters displaying titles of Dion\u2019s iconic songs, such as \u201cPour que tu m\u2019aimes encore\u201d and \u201cPower of Love,\u201d dispatched across the streets of Paris.<\/p>\n

\n\tDion is expected to perform a string of concerts in Paris starting this fall at the Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena, which was just acquired by Live Nation and previously welcomed Taylor Swift, the Rolling Stones and Kendrick Lamar. According to La Presse,<\/a> Dion will give two concerts each week in September and October at the 40,000-seat venue.<\/p>\n

\n\tContacted by Variety, reps for the singer did not immediately have a comment. <\/p>\n

\n\tDion\u2019s Paris concerts were originally scheduled for 2020 at Paris La D\u00e9fense Arena as part of her Courage World Tour<\/a>, but were postponed due to the pandemic and then delayed again due to her health issues. In 2022, Dion was diagnosed with Stiff\u00a0Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological and autoimmune disorder that causes muscular stiffness, inhibiting the ability to walk and sing. Her battle against this illness was chronicled in the 2024 documentary \u201cI Am: Celine Dion,\u201d<\/a> which was directed by Irene Taylor. Dion was also recently interviewed for a documentary which came out on the French channel M6 about her creative collaboration with singer-songwriter and producer Jean-Jacques Goldman.<\/p>\n
