This past Saturday\u2019s event was headlined by a pivotal featherweight clash between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy. After five rounds of action, Evloev scored the majority decision win<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tsarukyan took to his Threads account with an interesting poll teasing a move down to 145 pounds.<\/p>\n \u201cUFC fans, is it time for me to save the featherweight division?,\u201d Tsarukyan wrote.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time \u201cAhalkalakets\u201d has hinted at changing his weight class. The No. 2-ranked UFC lightweight recently appeared on the Aviator YouTube channel<\/a>, and he took aim at reigning featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (via Bloody Elbow<\/a>).<\/p>\n \u201cYes, it makes sense,\u201d Tsarukyan said. \u201cI\u2019ll beat Volk and then I\u2019ll hire him as my chef because when I beat him, he\u2019s going to retire and he\u2019s gotta do something and I can pay good money for him, to have a good chef like him.\u201d<\/p>\n Tsarukyan\u2019s last MMA bout took place back in Nov. 2025 when he submitted Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar. He has been staying busy outside of the Octagon by participating in submission grappling and freestyle wrestling matches.<\/p>\n
