The range-technology company continues to challenge the status quo in golf<\/p>\n

[London, UK] The world\u2019s premier range golf competition\u2014The Inrange World Tour (IWT)\u2014 announced its return for a third consecutive season. The competition skyrocketed a staggering 4.5x in participation last year, and this month marks the start of the new season with the high-stakes launch of the Myrtle Beach pre-tour Qualifier.<\/p>\n

The disruptive off-course golf tour is set to light up competitive Range Golf across 18 countries at the 90+ venues<\/a> within the<\/a>Inrange Partner Network<\/a>. The format \u2013 monthly 6 hole contests on some of the world\u2019s best courses \u2013 follows closely on the success of Season 2, with a few exciting additions for Season 3.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s New to the IWT?<\/p>\n

Divisional scoring \u2013 This year\u2019s tour deploys algorithmically-calibrated, performance-based divisions drawn from Inrange\u2019s global network data. Every competitor has a genuine path to winning their division, with a dynamic promotion\/relegation model that continuously recalibrates placements based on live performance data. No sandbagging. No luck of the draw. Pure competitive precision.<\/p>\n

Tour Elites \u2013 Inrange\u2019s radar network has been tracking the most elite range golfers on the planet. Season 3 introduces an invitation-only Elites tier \u2013 the top performers surfaced by Inrange\u2019s full network dataset \u2013 who will become the faces of Range Golf as a Sport and compete for a share of $30,000. These aren\u2019t just the best players, they\u2019re the avid net promoters.<\/p>\n

Team Play \u2013 Season 3 collides with one of golf\u2019s greatest team rivalries: the Solheim Cup. During a portion of the tour, players will declare allegiance to Team Europe or US Team, competing across 3 rounds where scores also count toward a collective team result. This year\u2019s tour will also include Bernardus Golf course \u2013 the Solheim Cup host venue \u2013 which Inrange is currently precision-scanning into its software.<\/p>\n

The hunt for glory officially begins on May 1st, with Round 1 taking place on a digital replica of the 2024 Olympic host venue, Le Golf National.<\/p>\n
