He had two home runs, seven RBIs and a .780 OPS in 15 spring training games.<\/p>\n<p>Wetherholt turned pro in 2024 but reached as high as triple-A in 2025. In 109 games last season split between double-A and triple-A, he hit .306\/.421\/.510 with a .931 OPS, 17 home runs and 23 stolen bases.<\/p>\n<p>The Cardinals are in a rebuilding year after a major sell-off over the off-season.
