Nate Diaz has a long, difficult relationship with the UFC, and now Dana White has commented on the fact that the Stockton native has signed with White\u2019s rival, Jake Paul, to feature on the Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano<\/a> undercard.<\/p>\n

A legend of the game, Diaz could have returned in one of the biggest fights in UFC history to face Conor McGregor in a trilogy bout; however, it wasn\u2019t meant to be. He\u2019s scheduled to face another former UFC man, Mike Perry, on May 16th<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After this past weekend\u2019s UFC London<\/a> card, Dana White spoke on the matter. \u201cHe came in and met with me a couple of weeks ago. We had a good time. I think Nate just got an offer he couldn\u2019t refuse. I haven\u2019t talked to him since then. But I\u2019m happy for him\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This would suggest that Nate Diaz could have been set for a UFC return, having not competed for the promotion since 2022.<\/p>\n

Jake Paul\u2019s venture into the world of MMA<\/a> is certainly disrupting the game.<\/p>\n

With the signing of Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano and Francis Ngannou, it suggests that they\u2019re there to take on the hierarchy and they\u2019re willing to spend the big money to do so. MVP MMA have a deal with Netflix, and their May 16th card is set to do huge numbers on the platform.<\/p>\n
