Three dead, one injured after avalanche in northwest B.C.<\/p>\n

Several fatalities have been reported following an avalanche at a heliskiing site near Terrace.<\/p>\n
Terrace RCMP and BC Emergency Health Services were dispatched on the afternoon of March 22 after receiving a report from local lodge staff of an avalanche that killed three people.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne man was transported to local hospital by BC EHS with serious injuries and is now in stable condition,\u201d Constable Kelly Cates said. \u201cThree men were located deceased.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cates added that the names of those involved are not being released and the RCMP does not suspect criminality.<\/p>\n
