{"id":557385,"date":"2026-03-24T11:45:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T11:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/557385\/"},"modified":"2026-03-24T11:45:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T11:45:11","slug":"brampton-care-home-opens-dementia-unit-after-refurbishment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/557385\/","title":{"rendered":"Brampton care home opens dementia unit after refurbishment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The newly renovated community and memory unit is located at Montague House Care Home in Brampton was formally opened.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The space was formally opened by Jane Walton, whose late husband Don had been a resident for five months.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Ms Walton said: &#8220;Don would have loved life on this wonderful floor.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  She has since become the home\u2019s first &#8216;dementia family buddy&#8217;, a volunteer role supporting families whose loved ones are transitioning into the care home.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>David Moore dancing with Tuula Montague.
