Munich will become the tenth city to host the Formula 1 Exhibition when it opens on 20 May 2026, adding another landmark stop to the global tour. The Bavarian capital becomes the second German venue to welcome the immersive show, following the success of the Oberhausen exhibition, which has already drawn more than 150,000 visitors and showcased Germany\u2019s strong interest in Formula 1.<\/p>\n
The award\u2011winning exhibition arrives at Pineapple Park in Munich after successful runs in Madrid, Vienna, London, Amsterdam, Oberhausen, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Melbourne. More than 1.3 million visitors have experienced the show worldwide.<\/p>\n
Munich is recognized as one of Europe\u2019s cultural capitals and a major center for science, technology, finance, innovation, business, and sport. The arrival of the Formula 1 Exhibition celebrates Germany\u2019s deep motorsport heritage, spanning world champions Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, and Nico Rosberg; notable drivers including Ralf Schumacher; iconic venues such as the N\u00fcrburgring and Hockenheim; and powerhouse constructors including Mercedes and new entrant Audi, represented by German driver Nico H\u00fclkenberg.<\/p>\n
Covering roughly 3,000 square meters, the exhibition guides visitors through multiple themed rooms that spotlight defining stories, pivotal moments, and technical breakthroughs in Formula 1. The immersive experience features legendary race cars, exclusive images, audio and photographic archives, installations, and interactive displays.<\/p>\n
Highlights include the Mercedes W02 driven by Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg in 2011, as well as Max Verstappen\u2019s RB16B, the car that delivered his first of four consecutive world championships.<\/p>\n
