Mario Pittarelli.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHe was responsible for more than 100 arrests, including extensive work at Toronto Pearson International Airport in partnership with the Canada Border Services Agency and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,\u201d Peel police said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peelpolice.ca\/news-feed\/posts\/in-memoriam-passing-of-active-police-service-dog-kylo\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.peelpolice.ca\/news-feed\/posts\/in-memoriam-passing-of-active-police-service-dog-kylo\/\">in a news release <\/a>this week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cKylo played a significant role in combatting auto theft and organized crime in the region, making a meaningful difference in keeping our community safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said he passed away suddenly on March 20 after battling cancer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cKylo was also affectionately known as one of the friendliest police dogs in the service. He brought unmatched energy to his work.
