In an update on Tuesday<\/a>, police announced that 21-year-old Daykwon Joseph was among the four arrested last week during a search of a vehicle and a residence near Wilson Avenue and Keele Street.<\/p>\nJoseph is facing 22 firearm-related charges and one count of attempted murder, which is in relation to the three shootings on March 4, 2025.<\/p>\n
Police have said suspects in a stolen vehicle shot and injured a person walking in the area of Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West. <\/p>\n
They then allegedly drove to a nearby tow yard and opened fire on another individual, critically injuring them.<\/p>\n
Later that night, the same suspects drove to a gas station near Lawrence Avenue East and Warden Avenue and ambushed a man washing his car, shooting him without warning, police said. The victim sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n

The three shootings as well as the mass shooting at Piper Arms near Progress Avenue and McCowan Road two nights later, prompted police to launch \u201cProject Night Hawk.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police arrested 10 people and laid more than 200 charges in June 2025 as a result of the investigation.<\/p>\n
Joseph was the 11th suspect wanted in \u201cProject Night Hawk.\u201d <\/p>\n
