Accompanied by his band, which includes his sons Spencer and Sammy Tweedy, the <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/4596-wilco\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wilco<\/a> frontman played \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/jeff-tweedy-shares-video-for-new-song-lou-reed-was-my-babysitter-watch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lou Reed Was My Babysitter<\/a>,\u201d off last year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/jeff-tweedy-twilight-override\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Twilight Override<\/a>. Check out the performance below.<\/p>\n<p>Tweedy\u2019s Kimmel performance follows appearances earlier this year on <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/jeff-tweedy-talks-new-album-and-performs-on-colbert-watch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/a> and The Daily Show. He\u2019s also in the midst of a solo <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/jeff-tweedy-announces-2026-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">North American tour<\/a>, which will conclude in Bozeman, Montana on April 9. Just a few weeks later, he\u2019ll hit the road with <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/4596-wilco\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wilco<\/a> for a summer tour with support from <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/4699-yo-la-tengo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yo La Tengo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/34368-hovvdy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hovvdy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond their standard tour route, Wilco have some key festival dates lined up this summer. They\u2019ll once again headline their annual <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/the-breeders-gang-of-four-billy-bragg-to-headline-wilcos-solid-sound-festival-2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Solid Sound Festival<\/a> in Massachusetts in June, alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/463-the-breeders\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Breeders<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/1677-gang-of-four\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gang of Four<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/449-billy-bragg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Billy Bragg<\/a>. They\u2019ll also appear on select stops of <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/3107-willie-nelson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Willie Nelson<\/a>\u2019s Outlaw Music Festival, playing at three Texas shows in July with the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/13428-sheryl-crow\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sheryl Crow<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/33386-margo-price\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Margo Price<\/a>, and Nelson himself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jeff Tweedy was the musical guest on this week\u2019s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
