Football Supporters Europe on Tuesday said that it joined with consumer group Euroconsumers to allege FIFA had \u201cabused its position to impose excessive prices.\u201d FSE accused FIFA of a \u201cmonumental betrayal\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/12\/12\/soccer-supporter-groups-criticize-fifa-over-pricing-for-the-26-world-cup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/12\/12\/soccer-supporter-groups-criticize-fifa-over-pricing-for-the-26-world-cup\/\">in December<\/a> when tickets were put on general sale ranging from $140 for the cheapest group games to $8,680 for the final.
