(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waff.com\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WAFF<\/a>) &#8211; Columbia High School has named its next girls\u2019 basketball coach!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Shanece McKinney Sims will lead the charge for the Eagles!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Shanece McKinney Sims\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/W6A4LJZ75VDKVCIXP6Y6IRHM7Q.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Shanece McKinney Sims(WAFF)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Sims played her collegiate career at Louisiana State University from 2010 to 2014.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Sims would go on to play in the WNBA with the New York Liberty and eventually took her skills overseas in Turkey, France, Spain, Beirut, and South Korea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She began her coaching career in 2018 and most recently served at Foley High School.
