Howard Stern complimented Carolyn Bessette Kennedy during rare comments on his Sirius XM radio show. <\/p>\n
\u201cI knew the real Carolyn Bessette,\u201d he said during the Monday broadcast<\/a> of his eponymous show, clarifying that he wouldn\u2019t \u201csay [he] knew her well.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cBut we had many, many conversations, more than casual conversations. She was very lovely. She was a really nice woman.\u201d<\/p>\n The shock jock, 72, stopped short of telling listeners exactly how he knew the 1990s fashion icon<\/a>, and confessed he didn\u2019t have a \u201cjuicy, gossipy story\u201d about Bessette. <\/p>\n Howard Stern recalled in a new episode of his radio show that Carolyn Bessette Kennedy was \u201clovely.\u201d He\u2019s seen above in June 2025. Some stuff you do have to keep private.\u201d<\/p>\n Stern noted that the wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr. \u201cwas very nice to me, very open and talkative,\u201d and that she \u201cdidn\u2019t give me the nose-up-in-the-air kind of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Notably, Stern had once appeared on the cover of George, JFK Jr\u2019s political magazine, in 1996, cracking that he \u201clooked like Paul Revere in drag\u201d in \u201cone of the worst covers\u201d he\u2019d ever done. <\/p>\n In the April 1996 cover image, he was portrayed chopping down a cherry tree with a chainsaw in \u201ccolonial garb.\u201d <\/p>\n Carolyn was \u201cwas very nice to me, very open and talkative,\u201d he claimed. Her wedding dress designer, Narciso Rodriguez, once described her as \u201cStrong. Authentic. Incredibly beautiful.
