Despite no confirmed fight scheduled for Joshua this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/celebrity\/anthony-joshua-fuels-return-rumors-latest-training-footage\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the 36-year-old has been training hard<\/a> with boxing veteran <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/tag\/oleksandr-usyk\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oleksandr Usyk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The former two-time unified heavyweight champion has recently been in Ukraine training with his friend, Usyk. \u201cAJ\u201d began working with Team Usyk ahead of his Miami fight with Jake Paul last year in Dec. 2025. Usyk\u2019s coaches are now overseeing Joshua\u2019s recent workouts in Kyiv, where he looked to be in incredible physical shape.<\/p>\n<p>Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn also shared a video of \u201cThe Watford warrior\u201d training on his Instagram, which soon got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWSBjGgAH_U\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">flooded with positive comments<\/a> about Joshua\u2019s comeback and recovery. Usyk, who is scheduled to fight Rico Verhoeven at the Pyramids in May. 23, 2026, also made an appearance in the video, where he was seen motivating and cheering Joshua.<\/p>\n<p>The video was soon flooded with positive comments. \u201cReally happy AJ has found a friend in Usyk, much needed after the year he\u2019s had,\u201d wrote one fan. While another fan commented, \u201cShows the true class of the man.\u201d Another fan was in awe of Usyk\u2019s gesture of helping Joshua out, \u201cI\u2019m loving how Usyk\u2019s helping him, makes me very feels! shows how much of a genuine, class act he is!
