The 18-year-old played mostly on a line with elite forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/nhl-edge\/skaters\/connor-bedard-8484144\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Bedard<\/a> and also saw time on the first power play with other young players <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/nhl-edge\/skaters\/frank-nazar-8483493\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Frank Nazar<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/nhl-edge\/skaters\/artyom-levshunov-8484783\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Artyom Levshunov<\/a>, giving the Blackhawks a glimpse of their bright future.<\/p>\n<p>Yakemchuk, the No. 7 pick in the 2024 NHL Draft from Canada, had a multipoint game (one goal, one assist), including a power-play assist, and two shots on goal in their win against the Detroit Red Wings.
