{"id":560709,"date":"2026-03-25T22:49:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T22:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/560709\/"},"modified":"2026-03-25T22:49:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T22:49:08","slug":"toronto-student-struck-by-vehicle-suffers-life-threatening-injuries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/560709\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto student struck by vehicle suffers life-threatening injuries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0March 25, 2026 at 6:12PM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0March 25, 2026 at 3:23PM EDT<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A 15-year-old boy is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle near his school on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Humber Boulevard and Louvain Street, in the area of Weston Road and Black Creek Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto paramedics tell CP24 that they transported the teenager to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident occurred near St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School and in a letter to parents, Principal Stephen Carey confirmed the victim is a student.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe ask for your prayers for the student and their family during this time.
