Wednesday also saw sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/peyton-amspacher-philemon\/28812\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28812\" target=\"_blank\">Peyton Amspacher-Philemon<\/a> push her own singles winning streak to 13 matches, tying her for the second-longest singles win streak in program history.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDelaware took an early 1-0 lead by securing the doubles point in a tiebreaking third flight. After Delaware&#8217;s Maryia Hrynashka and Paulina Jurkowska won the No. 1 spot over junior <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/olivia-fermo\/28814\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28814\" target=\"_blank\">Olivia Fermo<\/a> and freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/nicole-fu\/29633\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"29633\" target=\"_blank\">Nicole Fu<\/a>, 6-1, the Mids&#8217; second pairing of junior <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/anna-jordaan\/28816\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28816\" target=\"_blank\">Anna Jordaan<\/a> and sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/peyton-amspacher-philemon\/28812\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28812\" target=\"_blank\">Peyton Amspacher-Philemon<\/a> answered with a 6-3 win against Amelia Gordan and Navya Vadlamudi. Coming down to No. 3 doubles, Delaware&#8217;s Lara Russiniello and Katie Dollens rallied from a 5-2 hole to beat sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/grace-li\/28818\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28818\" target=\"_blank\">Grace Li<\/a> and junior <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/julia-lee\/28817\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28817\" target=\"_blank\">Julia Lee<\/a>, 7-6 (7-2).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nHrynashka extended the Blue Hens&#8217; lead to 2-0 with a 6-3, 6-1 win over sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/emma-gu\/28815\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28815\" target=\"_blank\">Emma Gu<\/a> at the top singles spot, but the Navy lineup responded by rattling off four consecutive points to keep its undefeated run alive.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nLi quickly put the Mids on the board with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Gorman on the third court, while fellow sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/molly-bellia\/28813\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28813\" target=\"_blank\">Molly Bellia<\/a> followed with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 4 over Russiniello, and the rookie Fu dispatched Jurkowska, 6-2, 6-4, at the No. 2 position to give Navy its first lead of the day at 3-2. Amspacher-Philemon then delivered the clinching point for the Mids in the No. 5 flight, edging Vadlamudi by a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) score to secure the team victory and continue her own personal run.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nWith the team result already decided, Delaware&#8217;s Hanna Vinahradava claimed the final match of the day at No. 6 singles, defeating freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/jina-cha\/29632\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"29632\" target=\"_blank\">Jina Cha<\/a> in a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3) final.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nHead Coach <a href=\"https:\/\/navysports.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/coaches\/keith-puryear\/2803\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"2803\" target=\"_blank\">Keith Puryear<\/a> Comments<br \/>\n&#8220;The ladies played a scrappy match today against a Delaware squad that is a tough and battle-tested group. Both teams fought like crazy, so it was good to see the ladies pull it out.
