Former Pussycat Dolls<\/a> member Jessica Sutta believes her conservative political beliefs led to her being excluded from the pop group\u2019s comeback.<\/p>\n

Plans for the Pussycat Dolls\u2019 reunion tour, dubbed \u201cPCD Forever,\u201d were unveiled<\/a> earlier this month alongside a new single, \u201cClub Song<\/a>.\u201d Many fans, however, were surprised to learn that the group\u2019s six-member lineup had been reduced to a trio<\/a>, with only Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger<\/a> and Kimberly Wyatt returning. <\/p>\n

Appearing on \u201cThe Maverick Approach\u201d podcast<\/a> this week, Sutta said she and former members Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton were \u201cblindsided\u201d by the news before noting that her support of President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s \u201cMake America Great Again\u201d agenda made her a \u201cliability.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNone of us were told about anything … and that\u2019s kind of how it was, always,\u201d Sutta said, as seen in a snippet<\/a> of the interview. \u201cI align with [Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.], which is aligning with MAGA. Do I love what Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. [But] we didn\u2019t have a chance for the [vaccine] injured community to get help without him, even though he doesn\u2019t want us to exist.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are screaming at me, \u2018You\u2019re MAGA, you\u2019re MAGA.\u2019 Yeah, I am,\u201d she added. \u201cI triple down on it because I\u2019m so sick of people telling me who I should be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sutta didn\u2019t speculate on why Bachar and Thornton were not invited to join the reunion tour, which she deemed a \u201ccash grab.\u201d She also noted she\u2019d only received a phone call from Scherzinger on the day the tour was publicly announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t plan to call her back,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

Representatives for both The Pussycat Dolls and Scherzinger did not immediately reply to a request for comment on Sutta\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n

Sutta, a Florida native, has shared a number<\/a> of social media posts in support<\/a> of both Kennedy<\/a> and Trump<\/a>. Last year, she spoke out against COVID-19 vaccine mandates in an interview with the Daily Mail<\/a>, claiming she\u2019d felt \u201con the brink of death\u201d after receiving the Moderna vaccine. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m willing to risk my reputation so this doesn\u2019t happen to anyone else,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cThere are many people in the industry, way bigger than me, with a bigger outreach, with vaccine injuries. But they won\u2019t speak out.\u201d <\/p>\n

The singer\u2019s appearance on \u201cThe Maverick Show\u201d came just days after she issued a statement on social media in which she described hearing the tour announcement as \u201cdifficult\u201d after she\u2019d tried \u201cto reach out privately for several months.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI simply would have appreciated a heads-up earlier so I could process everything privately and handle the situation with a bit more grace and dignity,\u201d she wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThat said, I genuinely wish the girls a successful tour and nothing but the best moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scherzinger, meanwhile, has enjoyed a professional resurgence thanks to her chilling portrayal of Norma Desmond in Broadway\u2019s \u201cSunset Boulevard<\/a>,\u201d for which she won<\/a> a Tony Award. <\/p>\n

Appearing on NBC\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d with Roberts and Wyatt last week, Scherzinger appeared to be briefly at a loss for words<\/a> when asked why The Pussycat Dolls had reunited as a trio.<\/p>\n

Wyatt, however, soon interjected, noting, \u201cThis is what it looks like now in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think, ultimately, we\u2019ve got to protect our peace, and when something like the Pussycat Dolls has so much history \u2014 we have ruptured in the past, and right now we are repairing,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n
