{"id":561338,"date":"2026-03-26T04:56:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T04:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/561338\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T04:56:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T04:56:21","slug":"2-people-charged-firearm-seized-during-mississauga-traffic-stop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/561338\/","title":{"rendered":"2 people charged, firearm seized during Mississauga traffic stop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Brampton man and a Mississauga woman have been arrested and charged with multiple firearm offences, according to Peel Regional Police (PRP).<\/p>\n<p>Police say they were investigating a vehicle for a Cannabis Act offence near Derry Road East and Goreway Drive on March 6.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the investigation, officers located a loaded illegal handgun,\u201d PRP wrote in a press release issued on\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities arrested 21-year-old Keion Bynoe from Brampton and 20-year-old Elizabeth Akua Frimpomaa from Mississauga.
